Help Cherry !
I am looking for a pad that protects the anterior vagina from pressure.
After my last riding lesson in which I took the rising trot for the better part of an hour, aside from the pain and soreness, I discovered that I blistered and battered my very private nether parts. Other than a very thick sanitary pad, is there anything you recommend for this. I am certain I am not the only 67 yr old female who has encountered this.

Hi Susan,
There are a number of products out there for horseback, motorcycle and bicycle riders that you might find helpful. Some are designed with more padding in the crotch area and others have more padding in the seat.
Here are some search terms for you to use to help you find what you need.
Padded breeches
Padded briefs
Under Riders
Padded bike briefs
Padded bike shorts.
That will get you started !
To “Sore-Private-Parts” Sufferer:
It took me two years to figure all of this out and be able to ride my bike and my horse without ANY pain. Bottom line (no pun intended), we have been assaulted with increasing amounts of nasty chemicals in clothing, soaps, et al, and our sensitive tissues, particularly, have had enough. Try this:
(1) NO soap down there; wash well with warm water only. (I had a female gynecologist who said her goal in life was to make women stop using soap on their vaginal tissues. The male surgeon who did my hemorrhoidectomy said the same thing about the anus!) (2) The increased use of pesticides in commercially grown cotton bind chemically to the fiber and never wash out. Dyes, even OEKO approved organic dyes, can also cause inflammation. Use only UNDYED (natural) ORGANIC cotton panties. (3) If you’re extra sensitive (as I am), sleep on organic sheets, use only organic cotton nighties, and only natural dyed (green from chlorophyll, browns from earth pigments) organic towels. Organic cotton baby washcloths are softer and great for drying your crotch. (4) Use BioKleen or Ecos Free & Clear laundry detergent, NO softener, and rinse your laundry well.
The effect for me was dramatic. Padding may help if the irritation is to hard tissue, but my problem was chemical assault on my mucous membranes. I now do long bike rides and long trail rides on my horse with NO problems.
wow, this one is good, gonna use for another sport but i think it’ll be just as good, BIG thanks 🙂
